Job Summary
As an AI Enablement Specialist, you will be the human layer of FranklinCovey's AI enablement strategy. You will partner with the teams who sit closest to the work, identify where AI can solve real business needs, and help them build, adjust and adopt their own solutions. With a customer first mentality, this role requires active listening, quick thinking, and a growth mentality to turn an abstract capability into something a team can picture using tomorrow. You will work inside our governed AI model, using approved tools and our tiered review process, so good ideas move from experiment to operating practice quickly and safely.
Essential Job Functions
- Discover projects by partnering with business teams to surface the repeatable, high-frequency work that AI could take on, and capture each idea on the single intake channel
- Show the art of the possible through live demos and quick builds that help teams see how AI can solve their needs
- Train business users through hands-on sessions and labs to build and adjust their own agents, prompts and low-code workflows using approved tools, rather than only submitting requests to IT
- Prototype simple AI assistants, agents and automations with real data and one team, documenting assumptions and limits, and hand off successful pilots to the teams that will support them
- Test AI outputs for accuracy, consistency and policy fit, and recommend fixes to prompts, data grounding or agent design
- Evangelize adoption as a trusted peer, answering the questions and skepticism that a governance policy alone can't
- Apply our three-tier risk model (self-serve, light review, full review) and guide teams on the right path for their use case, partnering with IT, Security and Legal to keep adoption secure and compliant
- Help teams frame each use case: name the problem, the business owner, and the baseline metric before anyone writes a prompt
- Create and maintain enablement materials such as guides, FAQs, templates, and a shared library of prompts and use cases
- Capture baselines and track adoption, cycle time, quality and business outcome so wins are measured, not anecdotal
- Contribute to the AI Development Factory by helping write requirements and context to a standard AI can act on
- Collaborate with fellow AI Champions, the AI Council and IT to share best practices, and provide constructive feedback on how to improve our AI program
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of professional experience in a business, operations, analyst, training, process improvement, or technical role
- Experience using generative AI tools (such as Claude, Copilot or ChatGPT)
Preferred Skill & Experience
- Experience using generative AI tools to solve real work problems, including iterative prompting and checking output quality
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain AI to non-technical audiences
- Ability to map a business process and identify where AI can improve it
- Understanding of responsible AI use and data privacy
- You are excited about AI and see it as the way to solve most of our business needs
- Ability to ask insightful questions and a keenness for problem-solving across multiple teams and functions
- You are a powerful storyteller with the ability to clearly and confidently convey business value to non-technical audiences
- Ability to build relationships and win over skeptical stakeholders
- You are extremely coachable and willing to receive and implement feedback
- You have a high degree of curiosity and a growth mentality; you strive to grow and develop and never back down from a challenge
- You are self-motivated and know how to use your resources and initiative to overcome challenges
- Experience building low-code automations, simple agents or scripts into working demos (Power Platform, Copilot Studio, n8n or Python preferred)
- Familiarity with agent concepts such as tool calling, RAG and MCP
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or business intelligence tools
- Experience running office hours, a champion network, or other peer training; change management or instructional design background
- Experience documenting processes and creating SOPs or templates
