Fime is a globally recognised international player providing deep expertise across digital payments, mobility services, and digital identity. We work with leading organisations worldwide to solve complex challenges, identify emerging opportunities, and future-proof their strategies.
Our team of 900+ experts operates in over 20 locations around the globe, delivering solutions that support millions of transactions every day, across global markets. What sets us apart is our values: we are curious, creative, and highly collaborative, with a strong commitment to integrity - we do the right thing for our clients, our people, and our shareholders.
At Fime, the work is varied and intellectually stimulating. No two days are the same, and you will be surrounded by smart, engaged colleagues who value learning and continuous improvement.
MISSION
You will contribute to the design and implementation of AI-powered use cases for our cybersecurity SaaS platform, helping manufacturers and security teams navigate complex IoT and connected-product compliance evaluations. Working within our internal agent framework, you will help build and test agents that process structured platform data before, during and after evaluation workflows.
You will develop your expertise in prompt engineering, structured data and LLM-based agents while working closely with engineering, cybersecurity standards, UX and product teams to deliver reliable and practical AI capabilities. This role focuses on applied AI development rather than machine-learning research or neural-network development.

ACTIVITIES
- Contribute to AI agent development. Help design, implement and test agents within our internal framework to support evaluation preparation, in-workflow guidance, analysis and reporting.
- Work with structured platform data. Read and process complex JSON data, supporting the correct interpretation of compliance rule sets and evaluation information, and retrieve the relevant context for agents (embeddings, vector search).
- Develop and test prompts. Create, test and refine prompts under guidance to produce accurate, structured and useful outputs from large language models.
- Support platform integration. Work with the Full Stack Engineers to integrate agents into the backend and TypeScript client library.
- Support AI user experiences. Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer to help define how AI outputs, recommendations and explanations are presented to users.
- Document AI solutions. Maintain clear documentation of agent designs, prompt logic, data flows and assumptions.
- Contribute to testing and improvement. Help evaluate AI-generated outputs, identify inconsistencies and suggest improvements to prompts, validation rules and reusable agent components.
- Explore new use cases. Support the Product Manager and wider team in researching and assessing potential AI applications for the platform.
JOB EXPERIENCE
- Up to 2 years of experience (internships, apprenticeships, end-of-studies projects and freelance missions included) in software development, AI application development, technical support, data-related work or a similar technical field,
- Practical experience with prompt engineering, including creating and refining prompts for large language models.
- Experience working with JSON and structured or nested data.
- Basic understanding of LLM-based agents, including context management, tool use, chaining or output validation.
- Ability to break down workflows into clear, structured and testable steps.
- Ability to read and understand TypeScript code sufficiently to collaborate with software engineers.
- Experience documenting technical processes, data structures or system logic.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar.
- Familiarity with structured output techniques, including JSON mode, function calling or schema validation.
- Exposure to AI output evaluation or benchmarking.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance workflows or certification processes.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines: chunking, embeddings, vector search and reranking.
- Experience taking an AI feature to production: exposing it as an API, containerising it and deploying it through CI/CD.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Completed Master's-level degree (engineering degree or Master, Bac+5) or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Networks and Telecommunications or a related technical field.
- Grounding in machine learning and NLP fundamentals (embeddings, model evaluation, fine-tuning).
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering and the factors that influence the reliability and consistency of AI outputs.
- Good understanding of JSON and structured data, with careful attention to data quality.
- Methodical and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with prompts, data structures and compliance-related outputs.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, frameworks and technical concepts through documentation and experimentation.
- Clear written communication skills, with the ability to document technical logic and explain assumptions.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with engineering, design, cybersecurity and product teams.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on solutions.
- Fluency in English; French or German is a plus.
