​Job Overview And Responsibility

• We are looking for an AI Engineer Lead to lead the design and delivery of production­grade Generative AI solutions for a global financial services
• client. This is a hands­on technical leadership role that combines AI engineering, solution architecture, client collaboration, and team mentoring in a
• regulated environment.
• ­ Lead the architecture, development, and delivery of LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows for financial services use cases.
• ­ Own key technical decisions involving model selection, retrieval design, workflow architecture, integration, cost, and latency.
• ­ Build evaluation and regression­testing approaches and use output, trace, and failure analysis to improve solution quality.
• ­ Ensure solutions meet production requirements for reliability, security, observability, data protection, and auditability.
• ­ Translate business, risk, and compliance requirements into practical technical solutions with client and internal stakeholders.
• ­ Mentor engineers and establish reusable AI engineering standards, patterns, and development practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• ­ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• ­ 6+ years of professional software or AI engineering experience, including recent hands­on experience delivering Generative AI applications to production.
• ­ Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, including system design, APIs, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
• ­ Hands­on experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and data­grounding techniques.
• ­ Experience designing agentic workflows with tool calling and at least one major AI framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic, Kernel, or equivalent.
• ­ Experience with AI evaluation, error analysis, regression testing, tracing, and production monitoring.
• ­ Practical experience with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, databases, and production observability.
• ­ Understanding of AI security risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, access control, and guardrails.
• ­ Practical knowledge of banking, fintech, payments, lending, risk, compliance, or another financial­services domain.
• ­ Experience leading or mentoring engineers, working with client stakeholders, and communicating effectively in English.
