AI-First Product Engineer – Service Extensions & Apps (80–100%, Zurich / Remote)

Who we are

OPUSm AG, based in Zurich, builds smart products for service organisations. Our extensions and web apps fill real gaps in the day-to-day work of service teams, often alongside SAP Field Service Management and S/4HANA Service. Our portfolio is growing and our team needs to grow with it.

Your role

This isn’t a pure developer job. You own our extensions and applications from start to finish: idea, design, development, go-live and support.

• Shape new products from the first idea to go-live, together with customers and our consultants
• Design clean, intuitive user experiences. UX is a top priority for us.
• Build and ship features across frontend, backend and data
• Run your products like a product owner: roadmap, priorities, customer feedback and releases
• Keep things running after go-live: support tickets, bug fixes and steady improvement
• Work AI-first. AI-assisted development is part of every day, and you’ll help build AI agents and AI features into our solutions.

What you bring

• Located and work permission in Switzerland (Germany)
• Fluent English (C1) (German is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor in your daily work, plus the judgement to review, test and take responsibility for what they produce
• A basic understanding of software architecture: frontend, backend, hosting and deployment
• Good working knowledge of GitHub, APIs (REST/OData) and databases (e.g. PostgreSQL/Supabase)
• Basic knowledge of security and data protection: authentication, authorisation, secrets handling and GDPR / Swiss nFADP
• Basic knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions, Vercel)
• A product mindset: you talk to users, prioritise well and get things shipped
• An eye for clean, user-focused interfaces

Nice to have

• Experience building AI features, such as LLM APIs, RAG or AI agents
• Knowledge of the service industry (field service, maintenance, utilities, facility management)
• Experience with ERP or FSM systems, ideally SAP FSM, S/4HANA or SAP BTP
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications
• Experience in Customer Projects including Requirement-Engineering, Execution & Delivery + Support
