Salary: ¥7,000,000-¥12,000,000 per year

Working Style: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days remote

About The Opportunity

We are looking for an AI Native Software Engineer with approximately 2-5 years of software engineering experience who wants to rapidly expand their technical expertise and ownership in AI product development.

You will work on AI systems that go beyond answering questions. Our products connect with enterprise data and SaaS platforms, understand business processes, and execute tasks end-to-end.

This is an opportunity to work on challenging problems across LLMs, AI Agents, production engineering, 0→1 development, and real-world AI applications.

What You Will Do

Depending on your strengths and interests, you may work across either customer-facing AI engineering or core AI product engineering.

Forward Deployed Engineering

• Understand customer business processes, data, and existing SaaS environments
• Define technical requirements and translate business problems into AI solutions
• Design and implement AI Agents, workflows, APIs, web applications, and data pipelines
• Take ownership from PoC through production deployment and continuous improvement
• Turn customer-specific insights into reusable product capabilities
  
  

Core Product Engineering

• Design and implement AI product backends, APIs, shared services, and data models
• Develop Agent Runtime, SDK, Orchestration, Memory, and Model Routing capabilities
• Improve reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency
• Build and improve CI/CD, observability, and developer experience
  
  

Across Both Tracks

• Design, implement, test, evaluate, and operate LLM/AI-powered features
• Work with production-quality systems incorporating Evals, Observability, Guardrails, Human-in-the-loop, and Abstention
• Make technical decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly
• Use AI coding tools to continuously improve development productivity and quality
  
  

What We Are Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, ML, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• 2+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent development achievements
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages
• Experience covering requirements, design, implementation, and testing
• Experience developing or validating applications using LLMs / Generative AI
• Fluent Japanese communication skills for technical and business discussions
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience independently identifying and solving product or business problems
• 0→1 product development, startup, research, OSS, competitive programming, or hackathon experience
• Cloud development experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with AI Agents, RAG, Tool Calling, or LLM Evals
• Experience applying English technical documentation or research papers to implementation
