The role

We are hiring an AI Solutions Developer to build the AI tools and automations that change how our teams work. This is a hands-on role for a developer early in their career: you build and ship, and the CTO sets priorities, requirements and technical direction with you.

Maya HTT is a Montreal-based CAE and PLM software company and a Siemens Digital Industries Software partner. We build our own simulation software, deliver engineering services and custom tools to clients, and resell and support Siemens solutions.

We build on frontier models rather than hosting our own. Your job is to connect those models to our people, data and systems through MCP servers, integrations and automations that remove manual work.

Responsibilities

• Sit with teams to find manual work worth automating, and turn it into clear, scoped use cases with the CTO.

• Build custom MCP servers that connect frontier models to our internal systems and data.

• Evaluate, configure and integrate off-the-shelf MCP servers, connectors and AI tools, and recommend when buying beats building.

• Build agents and automated workflows that run end to end, with humans reviewing only where it matters.

• Deploy what you build to production: secure, monitored, documented and supported.

• Apply our security and data rules: access control, data classification, and keeping client data where it belongs.

• Measure the time saved or the quality gained for every tool you ship.

• Train teams on the tools you deliver, and grow internal champions who can do simple automations themselves.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of software development experience, including applications built on LLM APIs (professional, academic or personal projects count).

• Working experience with AI platforms and APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, including tool use. Exposure to an AI adoption or enablement initiative is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with MCP or other LLM tool integrations, and eagerness to go deep.

• Solid Python or TypeScript and REST APIs; working knowledge of OAuth and cloud deployment (Azure preferred).

• Awareness of security risks in AI systems: permissions, prompt injection, data leakage.

• Curiosity about how non-technical teams work, and the communication skills to work with them directly.

• Professional English; French is a strong asset.

Nice to have

• Experience in CAE, simulation, PLM or engineering software.

• Experience in a professional services firm or a software reseller.

• Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint or Teams integrations.

• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate, n8n or Zapier.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 data governance, such as Purview.

• Autonomy: you start with well-scoped automations and take on more design ownership over time. Everything that reaches production gets a code and security review.
