About QuilrAI

QuilrAI is an agent-native security company founded by security veterans to secure and operationalize the agentic enterprise across the entire agent lifecycle. We treat AI as a deployment problem—ensuring agents are assessed, governed by policy, and deployed via approved blueprints before they reach production, with every agent action decided before execution and verified afterward.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, we partner with high-growth tech firms and enterprise customers across financial services, legal, and business operations to protect critical workflows against prompt injection, data exfiltration, and non-deterministic model behavior.

The Role

As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between our core product and our customers. You will work directly on client premises to deploy, integrate, and optimize Quilr’s AI security solutions. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role perfect for a fast learner who loves solving complex engineering problems in the real world.

What You Will Do

Deploy and Implement

  • Lead the hands-on technical deployment of our AI security products within enterprise customer environments.

Customer Collaboration

  • Act as the primary technical contact for clients, working closely with their engineering and security teams to ensure smooth integration.

Solve Complex Problems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve challenges related to prompt injection, supply chain security, and LLM vulnerabilities in production.

Feedback Loop

  • Capture ground-truth feedback from the field to help our core engineering team refine and expand our product capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates from top-tier engineering programs are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong hands-on coding skills, particularly in Python, and a solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with building or working alongside LLMs, agentic AI, or modern ML tooling.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to excel in a customer-facing, consultative environment.
  • High agency, proactive problem-solving abilities, and comfort navigating the ambiguity of a fast-paced startup.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience or strong interest in cybersecurity, application security, or AI security.
  • Familiarity with OWASP, red teaming, or penetration testing methodologies.

Important Logistical Note

Candidates must possess active, valid US work authorization. Quilr is currently unable to provide visa sponsorship.
