Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited is a national manufacturer and distributor of automobiles and automotive service parts headquartered in Oakville, Ontario and is an integral part of the international Ford Motor Company organization.
Ford of Canada is looking for a curious, motivated AI Strategy Intern to support the development and execution of our artificial intelligence strategy — both internally across Ford of Canada's business functions, and externally across our national dealership network. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to how a major automotive brand is operationalizing AI at scale, working directly with the AI Strategy Manager on high-visibility initiatives that touch corporate operations, dealer enablement, and customer experience.
If you have the drive and want the excitement of a challenging internship, please submit your application no later than Sunday, November 8th. A resume and transcript are required as part of your application.
Candidates must be available May to August 2027 and be returning to school in the Fall.
Work Location: Oakville
This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.

Internal AI Strategy & Adoption
- Research emerging AI tools, platforms, and industry trends relevant to enterprise and automotive use cases
- Support the internal AI governance framework, use-case intake process, and pilot tracking
- Help build training materials and internal communications to drive AI literacy and adoption among Ford of Canada employees
External / Dealer AI Strategy
- Support the AI enablement for Canadian dealerships (e.g., AI-driven customer service, sales enablement, marketing personalization tools)
- Help create dealer-facing playbooks, training content, and best-practice guides
- Track dealership AI adoption and compile feedback/performance metrics
Cross-Functional Support
- Prepare presentations, briefing decks, and status reports for leadership and dealers
- Support data analysis and dashboard creation to measure impact of AI initiatives
- Participate in strategy meetings, document notes, and track action items
You'll Have:
Basic Qualifications

Even better you'll have...
Experience
- Ability to deliver assignments with a value-add mind-set.

- Analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable building and presenting decks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an asset.
- Self-starter, comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
