【Recruitment Background】

The core platform is in an early post-release growth phase. Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives and enterprise negotiations are rapidly accelerating concurrently across diverse industries—including pharmaceuticals/healthcare, consumer packaged goods (CPG), advanced materials/components, and strategic consulting. Development demands now extend far beyond standard core product feature sets.

・Accumulating Backlog: Every enterprise PoC and commercial engagement surface specific field requirements, resulting in a rapidly growing backlog of feature requests and system enhancements.

・Capacity Constraints: Development bandwidth is currently constrained, creating a bottleneck in translating client-specific operational needs into production features at speed.

・Uncharted Product Domain & Specification Ambiguity: Operating in pioneering domains ("AI Partners" and "Implicit Knowledge Extraction") where established workflow blueprints do not exist. Engineers cannot wait for static specification documents; they must actively understand customer workflows to define system specifications.

The driver for this recruitment is not a lack of product-market fit, but rather demand outpacing engineering capacity. The candidate will not join a static engineering department, but will actively shape the team's engineering practices and operational architecture. Taking end-to-end ownership over assigned issues, the engineer will align with internal/external stakeholders (Business Development, Product, and Enterprise Clients) to drive features from initial concept through production deployment.

【Responsibilities】

As an AI Product Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and operation of product features centered around generative AI technology.

Depending on your experience, you will focus on the following three areas:

Development of Core Product Features

You will design and implement core product features, including AI agent/persona design (prompt engineering, context engineering), multi-agent dialogue pipelines for extracting tacit knowledge, and RAG and search infrastructure.

FDE-Style Customer Deployment

For ongoing PoC projects, you will translate on-site customer requirements into product features and provide support for customization and implementation. Working closely with the business development team, you will incorporate requests gathered during sales meetings into new features through short development cycles.

Designing Development Processes

As a product in its early growth phase, you will work with the team to define mechanisms for monitoring and improving SaaS operations, evaluation frameworks (such as LLM-as-a-judge), and approaches that balance FDE deployment with product development.

Required *Meet all of the following

・3+ years of practical experience in web application development

・Experience developing features using LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, GPT)

・Experience developing and operating systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

・Ability to communicate fluently in Japanese, including technical discussions related to work (Guideline: Business conversation level or higher)

Preferred

・Experience developing multi-agent LLM systems and AI agent frameworks

・Experience developing systems that utilize RAG, search engines, and vector databases

・Full-stack development experience, with a focus on backend development while also possessing some experience with modern frontend technologies (such as React)

・Practical experience in prompt engineering and evaluation (e.g., LLM-as-a-judge)

・Experience building and improving products through direct interaction with customers (e.g., FDE, collaboration with customer success teams)

・Experience in product development during the pre-PMF and early stages

・Background in fields related to human cognition and interaction, such as cognitive science, psychology, and HCI

・Proactive in contributing to the technical community through participation, speaking at events, and writing blog posts
