AI/ML Engineer

Role Description The AI/ML Engineer at Graatea is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models that power AI-driven hiring solutions. Day-to-day work includes building and training models for pattern recognition and candidate matching, developing and testing algorithms, and improving neural network architectures for performance and scalability. The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions, evaluating model performance using statistical methods, and deploying production-ready ML pipelines. The engineer will also help maintain model reliability, document technical decisions, and contribute to ongoing research and experimentation to enhance the platform’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with experience designing efficient, scalable solutions.
• Applied expertise in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for real-world AI/ML applications.
• Solid understanding of Statistics for model evaluation, experimentation, and performance analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language for ML (e.g., Python) and common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, training, validation, and deployment in production environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and write well-structured technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in recommendation systems, ranking models, or HR-tech / talent platforms is a plus.
