The role

Senior Collections Analyst

Scope: Full Time | Location: Bogotá, Colombia | Hybrid
  • Are you a professional with solid experience in accounts receivable, collections, payment follow-up, and payment reconciliation?
  • Do you have strong communication skills with customers and stakeholders, as well as experience working directly with Commercial Managers?
As a Senior Collections Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the Peru and Ecuador accounts receivable portfolio, including payment follow-up and reconciliation, aging analysis, and collections reporting. You will manage a portfolio of approximately 300 customers, working closely with customers, Commercial Managers, and internal teams to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 customers across Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia, overseeing accounts receivable, payment follow-up, outstanding balances, and customer accounts.

  • Maintain direct and effective communication with customers to validate and reconcile payments.

  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable and collections reports, including DSO and Bad Debt, using Excel and Power BI to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Work closely with Commercial Managers, Billing, and Finance teams, communicating payment status, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the Order-to-Cash process.

  • Manage collections across multiple currencies, participate in customer and internal meetings, and support the overall management of the accounts receivable portfolio.

What we need to see from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or similar Finance functions, with solid experience in payment follow-up, payment reconciliation, and management of overdue accounts across LATAM or multiple countries.

  • Experience in reporting and KPI analysis, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI.

  • Excellent communication and customer management skills, with experience interacting with Commercial Managers and internal stakeholders.

  • B1 level of English.
