Job Description
Visa is seeking a Analyst to be a member of the Visa People Advisor team. The People Advisor team serves as the primary point of contact for people leaders and managers across Visa's global client groups, delivering consultative HR advisory services that span performance management, talent development, compensation review, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. At a company operating across more than 200 countries and territories, the consistency and quality of people leadership experience directly influences business outcomes — and the People Advisor team is at the center of making that experience exceptional.
For an early-career HR professional, this role offers meaningful exposure to the full breadth of the HR generalist function, working alongside experienced People Business Partners and Centers of Excellence on programs that shape how Visa attracts, develops, and retains talent at scale. You will build analytical, advisory, and program execution skills across multiple HR disciplines, gaining the kind of hands-on experience that accelerates a career in people strategy and organizational effectiveness.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a day-to-day HR advisor to people leaders and managers, providing direct guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and employee relations matters of small to medium complexity.
- Support execution of key people programs — including annual review cycles, talent planning, promotion processes, and retention and growth and development initiatives — acting as an operational partner to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
- Produce detailed analytics, dashboards, and data presentations to support informed, unbiased decision-making on people matters across assigned client groups.
- Partner closely with PBPs and Centers of Excellence to drive consistent application of HR programs, policies, and processes across the organization.
- Assist in drafting performance improvement plans, written communications, and supporting documentation to drive effective employee and organizational outcomes.
- Support regulatory and legislative HR reporting requirements, ensure policies are current, and contribute to inclusion and diversity initiatives within assigned regions or functions.
- Contribute to cross-functional People Team projects and continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance HR process efficiency and the overall manager experience.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by bringing a customer-first mindset, proactively identifying patterns or trends in people data, and escalating issues with appropriate judgment.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting HR programs such as performance management cycles, talent planning, promotion processes, or employee engagement initiatives.
- Knowledge of HR policy interpretation and employee relations case management, including experience advising managers on low-to-moderate complexity people issues.
- Experience building people analytics reports, dashboards, or data visualizations to support HR decision-making.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and methods to identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations for people leaders.
- Experience working in a matrixed or global organization, partnering across HR functions including Centers of Excellence and PBPs.
- Familiarity with inclusion and diversity program support, regulatory HR reporting, or organizational design activities.
