Accelerate your career at RXO
RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions. With cutting-edge technology at the center, we're revolutionizing the industry with our massive network and commitment to finding solutions for every challenge. We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America.

As an Appliance Installation Supervisor at RXO, you will support the daily execution of appliance delivery and installation services performed by third-party carrier partners. You will coordinate route execution, field quality, customer experience, safety, and compliance while helping ensure services meet RXO, client, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements. You will work under the direction of the Appliance Installation Operations Manager and will not directly employ appliance installers.

This role will include 50-75% travel throughout the general Plymouth Meeting/Reading, PA areas.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

· Coordinate daily appliance delivery and installation operations performed by third-party carrier partners from loadout through route completion.

· Work with carrier owners and installation teams to confirm attendance, route readiness, capacity, tools, equipment, and service coverage.

· Monitor route progress and escalate volume changes, delays, shortages, installation barriers, and other service disruptions to the Appliance Installation Operations Manager.

· Verify that carrier partners arrive with qualified teams, appropriate vehicles, required tools and equipment, and current service credentials.

· Conduct field observations, ride-behinds, installation-quality reviews, and service documentation checks.

· Respond to installation failures, customer escalations, retrips, claims, and property-damage concerns; document findings and support corrective action.

· Review carrier scorecards and daily performance results, recognize positive execution, and follow up on service gaps with carrier partners.

· Support route productivity, installation-related cost control, accurate service reporting, and achievement of market performance goals.

Audit & Compliance

· Audit installation photos, proof of completion, exception notes, customer documentation, and carrier qualification records for accuracy and compliance.

· Verify that gas, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and built-in appliance services are performed only by appropriately qualified personnel and where permitted by law.

· Track audit findings, communicate deficiencies, and partner with the Appliance Installation Operations Manager, carrier owners, and internal compliance teams to complete corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner with client and store leaders, warehouse, dispatch, customer service, claims, safety, compliance, and recruiting teams to resolve daily operational issues.

· Communicate route status, capacity risks, service failures, audit findings, and recovery needs to carrier partners and operational leadership.

· Support service-recovery and continuous-improvement initiatives that strengthen installation quality and the customer experience.

At a Minimum, You'll Need

· Three years of experience in logistics, transportation, last-mile delivery, appliance installation, home services, or a related operation.

It'd Be Great If You Also Have

· Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field.

· Experience supporting third-party appliance delivery and installation operations.

· Knowledge of appliance-installation requirements, safety practices, claims prevention, and customer-property protection.

· Experience coordinating routes, monitoring field execution, and addressing service exceptions.

· Availability to work a flexible schedule and travel within the assigned market as operationally required.

· Experience with Microsoft Office, operational reporting, performance metrics, and root-cause analysis.

· Strong communication, leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
