What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (mandatory).
• 5+ years of professional experience in Application Management or a similar role.
• Versatile, flexible, and cross-functional profile, with the ability to work across different technical areas.
• Proven experience managing the application lifecycle, ensuring application quality, stability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing external suppliers and service providers, ensuring quality standards and delivery deadlines are met.
• Previous background in software development.
• Solid knowledge of HTTPS protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Application Security, Privacy by Design, and Security by Design principles.
• Knowledge of UX/UI, scripting, and accessibility concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, and MariaDB.
• Experience with Web Servers, particularly IIS and Apache.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working on Public Sector projects.
• Experience in complex application management environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and application governance.

What will you do?

• Manage and oversee the application lifecycle, ensuring application quality, performance, and availability.
• Coordinate application maintenance, evolution, and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage external suppliers and service providers, monitoring deliverables, quality standards, and project deadlines.
• Act as a point of contact between technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
• Leverage previous software development experience to understand technical requirements and support application-related decisions.
• Ensure the implementation of application security best practices, including Privacy by Design and Security by Design principles.
• Support the adoption of secure communication protocols, particularly HTTPS.
• Oversee technical aspects related to UX/UI, scripting, and accessibility.
• Work with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Support application infrastructure involving SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, IIS, and Apache.
• Ensure applications comply with technical, security, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to the resolution of application-related incidents and technical challenges.

Location: Lisbon

Working Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
