Right now, we are looking for an Application Security & WAF Engineer to integrate our Talent team in Lisbon.

Your responsibilities include:

• Administration, configuration, and optimization of Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), specifically FortiWeb, ensuring the protection of critical applications against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Management and troubleshooting of network security infrastructures, including FortiGate, Check Point, and Palo Alto.
• Daily collaboration with Systems, Cloud, Applications, and Security teams.
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution in critical and high-availability environments.
• Taking technical ownership of critical security platforms.

You must have:

• Experience in the administration of network and security infrastructures.
• Advanced knowledge of Fortinet FortiWeb (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, VPN, DNS, and load balancing.
• Experience in complex troubleshooting of critical and high-availability environments.
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership of critical platforms.

• Relevant experience in at least two of the following technologies: Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Azure.
• Experience in hybrid environments, with strong collaboration across Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams.
• Exposure to multiple security solution vendors (multivendor environments).
