Architect

Mapal Group is looking for a Hands-On Architect with a strong background in .NET / C#, who can help shape and evolve a modern, distributed platform. This role is firmly anchored in .NET, while operating in an environment where Node.js and Python are part of the ecosystem. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys designing systems, writing code,and making architectural decisions that run in production. This role reports to the Head of Architecture. What you’ll do • Act as a technical reference for .NET / C#, defining patterns, standards and architectural direction. • Design and evolve distributed, cloud-native systems with scalability and reliability in mind. • Stay hands-on in C#, contributing to production code and critical paths. • Drive architectural evolution towards event-driven and asynchronous architectures. • Work with Kubernetes and containerized workloads as core building blocks. • Design and implement messaging and integration patterns using Kafka and Azure Service Bus. • Guide teams in decomposing monoliths into modular or service-based architectures. What we’re looking for • Strong, proven experience building distributed systems in .NET / C#. • Solid architectural thinking across services, data and messaging. • Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP). • Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging semantics. • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across distributed teams. • Practical database knowledge with a focus on data modeling and performance. • Nice to have: hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Python in production systems.
