About the Company:
Our client is a leading architecture and design practice in Australia, specializing in delivering high-quality, innovative, and functional built environments across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. About the Role:
· Responsible for the production of architectural documentation for all stages of projects (Feasibility, Concept Design, Development Applications, Construction Documentation).
· Utilisation of 3D BIM software to efficiently achieve team and practice goals.
· Collaboratively develop and implement design concepts through all stages of a project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaison with consultants under the direction of the Project Architect
• Liaise with Project Architect and Associate or Senior Associate overseeing the project
• Communicate with project team members
• Presence on office panels – optional involvement
• Awareness of the program for the project
• Active participant in the progression of the project
• Collate drawings / create digital files
• Uploading / downloading drawings to web-based drawing storage facility
• Ability to deliver to project milestones as scheduled
• To pursue design excellence and innovation
• Ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction
• Completing timesheets updated and ready for processing weekly
• Adhere to the guidelines set out by the Australian Institute of Architects
• Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
Experience & Requirements
- Excellent listening skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in architectural professional practice
- Comprehensive level of experience using 3D BIM software, ArchiCAD – highly desirable
- Basic to comprehensive level of experience using SketchUp
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates careful attention to detail
- Working knowledge of the methods and techniques of computer technology applicable to architecture and design
- Completed Bachelor of Architecture or related tertiary qualification – desirable
