Data Architect

We are looking for a Data Architect to join our Data & AI practice. In this role, you will design and implement data solutions for different projects and clients. We are looking for someone who is proactive, comfortable solving technical challenges, able to make design decisions, and confident communicating ideas clearly.

What you'll do:

• Design modern data models and architectures, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Star Schema, and Medallion architectures.
• Turn client needs into data solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, AWS, and Databricks.
• Apply data governance best practices, including cataloging, lineage, and data classification.
• Join technical conversations with clients and contribute to proposals and pre-sales activities.

What we need to see from you

What we're looking for:

• Hands-on knowledge of data architecture and modeling, with the ability to design solutions, not only implement them.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, OneLake, Power BI, SQL, and PySpark/Spark.
• Familiarity with AWS and Databricks, including services such as S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, and Athena.
• Knowledge of data governance, particularly Microsoft Purview and DAMA-DMBOK concepts.
• Applied knowledge of Generative AI, including RAG and embeddings.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions clearly, collaborate with clients, and contribute to technical proposals.

Nice-to-have certifications:

• DP-600 or AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate (DEA-C01).
• PL-300 as an additional certification.
• AI-900 or AWS Certified AI Practitioner.
