Role Description The Artist Management Specialist is a contract role based in Lagos with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves managing day-to-day relationships with artists and labels, coordinating release schedules, and supporting the execution of promotional plans. The specialist will oversee artist onboarding, track performance across digital platforms, and ensure accurate delivery of assets and metadata. Responsibilities also include liaising with internal teams to resolve operational issues, supporting rights management and content protection efforts, and providing clear communication and reporting to artists and partners.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Artist Management and Music Management skills.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for working with artists, labels, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess practical experience or familiarity with Music Production and Music industry workflows.
- Knowledge of digital music distribution, streaming platforms, and rights management is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Previous experience in artist relations, label services, or talent management is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
