Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IBM AS/400 Consultant to support, maintain, and enhance applications running on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2, SQL, and IBM i environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM AS/400 / IBM i platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain programs using RPG/RPGLE, Free-Form RPG, CL/CLLE, and SQLRPGLE.
• Work with DB2 for i databases, including queries, stored procedures, and data maintenance.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
• Perform application debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain interfaces/APIs between IBM i applications and external systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and release activities.
• Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Support modernization and integration initiatives involving IBM i applications.
