Role Description The Assets & Equipment Maintenance Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the maintenance, reliability, and performance of company assets and equipment used in property operations. This role manages maintenance schedules, tracks asset conditions, and coordinates preventive and corrective repairs to minimize downtime and extend asset life. Day-to-day tasks include developing maintenance plans, monitoring work orders, working with vendors and service providers, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to forecast maintenance needs, optimize costs, and support property readiness for sales, leasing, and client visits.
Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills to lead maintenance activities, coordinate teams, and oversee vendor performance.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair across building and property-related assets.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and maintenance management, including creating schedules and tracking completion.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, basic building systems, and property operations within a real estate context.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience using maintenance management software or digital tools for asset tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
• Relevant technical or engineering qualification, or equivalent experience in facilities, property, or maintenance management.
