Assistant Compliance Officer

Assistant Compliance Officer Our client, a well-established CSP, is looking for an Assistant Compliance Officer to join their international Compliance team. In this role, the selected candidate will support the business across EU and local regulatory requirements while working closely with the wider Compliance team. This is a hybrid role (available after probation) offering a salary of up to €30K . Please note that only candidates already based in Malta can be considered. Role & Responsibilities Assist in the implementation and monitoring of compliance policies and procedures Perform regular compliance reviews and assist with audits Assist with the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation, records, and reports Track changes in EU and local regulations and ensure internal policies are updated accordingly Support compliance investigations and escalate when necessary Support compliance training and awareness activities across the company Coordinate with internal departments and, where needed, liaise with regulatory authorities under supervision Education, Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related 3+ years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or risk-related role Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken Good understanding on regulatory compliance within a financial services or regulated environment Keen eye for detail with excellent analytical skills Discreet and professional, especially while handling sensitive information Organised with the ability to manage daily tasks unsupervised Proficient in MS Office applications Strong interest in compliance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management About the Role Salary of up to €30K Hybrid working (available after probation) On Fridays – office closes at 3pm Opportunity to grow within a global, well-established company Exposure to a broad range of compliance activities Strong learning and development opportunities within a supportive team environment Please, apply with your detailed CV in English. *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
