Lovehoney Finance is growing and we need an excellent Finance professional to join our team. The main focus of the role is to support and enhance the end-to-end monthly management accounts process to strict Group reporting deadlines. This includes full General Ledger review and ensuring overhead costs are correctly allocated to departments to underpin new regional reports and central overhead allocations for 2023. Work will required to re-state 2022 for comparative purposes. The role will also focus on direct cost lines, ensuring postings are accurate and thoroughly reviewed against FP&A forecasts. The role with also work closely with Marketing, Operations and Logistics teams, as well as other support functions, to ensure a thorough understanding of the costs is maintained. Maintenance of fixed asset registers & audit schedules. It is also expected that you will be heavily involved in the year-end process and will be required to provide audit support. It is expected that you are proficient in experience and qualifications to be able to demonstrate ability in these areas as you will be expected to hit the ground running. Please note, you will need to be based in our central Bath office at least 3 times per week. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post monthly accruals and prepayments journals Ensure costs are allocated to correct departments and aligned with budgets Intercompany recharges Review departmental postings & have a strong appetite to reconcile and investigate anomalies Fixed assets & depreciation journals Full year-end & audit support Query resolution & process improvements Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 2+ years experience working within a similar role Accountancy qualification - essential - (qualified/part qualified) - we are passionate about supporting your progression so we would consider study support relevant to the role It is a prerequisite for the role that you have solid Microsoft Excel skills.
