Assistant Research Scientist

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Owner at ANCG. The Owner will provide strategic oversight of business units, guide long-term vision, and approve major construction and infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities include reviewing financial performance, monitoring project pipelines, and ensuring alignment with safety, sustainability, and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership, providing direction on market positioning, and strengthening client relationships and partnerships. The Owner will also participate in high-level decision-making on resource allocation, risk management, innovation, and corporate governance while maintaining regular communication with executive teams.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership and business management skills, with experience steering complex, multi-disciplinary construction or engineering organizations.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, investment assessment, and oversight of profitability and long-term business growth.
• Knowledge of civil works, infrastructure, building construction, and MEP sectors, with an understanding of large-scale project delivery.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirements within the UAE construction industry.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and stakeholder partnerships at senior levels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment.
• Background in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate governance, risk management, and oversight of diverse project portfolios.
