Associate Accountant

The Associate Accountant supports the execution of day-to-day accounting activities, including transaction processing, account reconciliations, and financial data preparation. This role assists the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and supporting month-end close activities while developing foundational accounting knowledge.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for accounting entries and financial records.
• Support account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and accounting records in accordance with company standards.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis for the finance team.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information required for accounting processes.
• Assist with resolving routine accounting discrepancies or transaction issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
• Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives related to accounting operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Manager.
