Position Summary
VS PS Solution Engineering and Architecture team supports the solution engineering on various technology and architectural initiatives to solve PS business problems. Solution engineering team creates solution POC, solution development, co-development of technical solution along with each of the PS value pool tower’s engineering, platform, enterprise security, infrastructure and vendor teams. Solution architecture team makes sure that PS solution architecture are properly built, implemented and governed across the board working with enterprise architecture, enterprise security, enterprise infrastructure and product management plus product delivery teams.

This specific role is for the new hire to develop code, test solutions and implement those solutions across various PS domains. This person will be helping PS solution engineering and architecture team to develop various business solution using traditional software engineering best practices, AI and agentic approaches & leveraging various programming languages such as Java, Python, React, Angular, RDBMS, PostGreSQL, MongoDB along with GCP services, AWS cloud, Azure cloud services. Cloud native solution exposure is expected. Person needs to be familiar with platform centric approach of creating solution which can increase PS profitability and reduce operational cost & risks in the long run. Person should be conversant with PS business objectives, overall health care domain understanding and various healthcare specific data attributes (HL7) and security & governance best practices.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
