Description
The client is seeking a dedicated
Associate Attorney
to join its personal injury litigation team in Torrance, California. This position offers the opportunity to independently manage a caseload of
3040 personal injury cases
from filing through trial. Trial experience is highly desired but not required. Candidates must be able to work full-time in the Torrance office, with the flexibility of one remote workday per week after the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage 3040 plaintiff personal injury cases through all phases of litigation.
Develop case strategies and legal theories to maximize client outcomes.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.
Conduct settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
Serve as second chair at trial when needed.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address questions.
Supervise and guide paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progress.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active and good standing member of the
California State Bar
.
Minimum of
3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload successfully.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Client-focused approach with the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
High ethical standards and commitment to integrity.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Trial experience is a plus.
