Associate Designer – Activewear & Lounge

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented and highly organized Associate Designer to support the design and development of innovative activewear and lounge collections. This individual will work closely with the Senior Designer throughout the design process, from trend research and concept development to technical documentation, fittings and production handoff.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of garment construction, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and a passion for fashion, product development and design.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

• Partner with the Senior Designer to support all aspects of design and product development for activewear and lounge collections.

• Research seasonal trends, colors, fabrics, trims and prints to inform new product concepts.

• Create sketches, CADs, color palettes and design presentations using Adobe Illustrator.

• Assist with print development, artwork setup, recoloring and seasonal colorway updates.

• Source and organize fabric, trim and print inspiration.

Technical Design & Product Development

• Create style numbers, technical packages, construction pages and related documentation for handoff to the technical design team.

• Maintain and update tech packs, including bills of materials (BOMs), design revisions and colorway additions.

• Assist with lab dip reviews, print strike-off comments and color approvals.

• Attend fittings, document feedback and communicate necessary updates.
