The role combines project and commercial leadership with subject-matter expertise. Associate Directors are expected to help clients solve complex asset-management problems, translate analysis into practical recommendations, and lead multidisciplinary teams through delivery.

The Associate Director also plays an important role in developing AMCL’s people, propositions and client relationships, working closely with colleagues across Turner & Townsend where broader program, project, cost, commercial, digital or advisory capability is required.

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate effectively with AMCL, Turner & Townsend and client specialists.
  • Manage project commercial performance, including scope, resourcing, fee management, change control, risk and delivery commitments.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to extend AMCL’s support where there is a clear client need.
  • Lead and contribute to proposals, presentations, pursuits and business-development activity.
  • Contribute to the development of AMCL methodologies, propositions, tools and intellectual property.
  • Coach and develop consultants, providing clear direction, technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Support resource planning and capability development within the team.
  • Represent AMCL credibly with senior client stakeholders and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure Management, Business, Finance or another relevant discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Advanced or postgraduate qualifications are considered an asset.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in asset management, engineering, project management, risk, change, finance or a related discipline are considered an asset.

  • Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks and commercial performance.
  • Proven ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams and to influence decisions in complex organizations.
  • Experience developing proposals, identifying opportunities and contributing to business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop team members.
