About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.

About the role
Acast is looking for a strategic, creative, and commercially minded Associate Director, GTM Strategy to lead proactive go-to-market efforts across our US business. Working closely with Creator Network, Sales, and Marketing, you'll own Acast's Commercial Slate, helping identify, prioritize, and bring to market the creator programming, cultural moments, and commercial opportunities that drive revenue. From major creator launches and cultural tentpoles to category-specific offerings, you'll help shape what Acast takes to market, when we take it to market, and how we position it to win. We're looking for someone who connects the dots between culture, creators, audiences, and advertisers — and knows how to turn great ideas into compelling opportunities for our Sales team.

Salary range: $120000 - $130000 yearly + bonus

What you'll do

1. Proactive GTM Planning & Tentpoles

● Own Acast's forward-looking commercial calendar, identifying cultural moments, seasonal opportunities, and creator programming to bring to market.

● Lead the development of proactive offerings, from planning and cross-functional brainstorms through ideation, packaging, positioning, and sales materials.

2. Commercial Slate & Creator Commercialization

● Lead Acast's Commercial Slate process, working with Creator Network, Originals, and Sales to identify and prioritize high-value opportunities.

● Develop commercial strategies for priority creators, new launches, tours, live events, and original programming, turning them into actionable sales opportunities.

● Own the commercial feedback loop, tracking sell-through, market response, and seller feedback to continuously refine the slate and identify new opportunities.

3. Sales Enablement & GTM Activation

● Drive the rollout and ongoing promotion of proactive opportunities through sales meetings, targeted communications, and tentpole reminders.

● Work with Sales leadership to keep commercial priorities visible, actionable, and top of mind for sellers.

● Own Acast's Sales Resource Hub, keeping GTM materials and commercial opportunities organized and up to date.

4. Strategic Marketing Support

● Support broader business priorities as needed, including strategic RFP responses, sales storytelling, and cross-functional marketing initiatives.

● Partner with internal teams on the positioning, go-to-market strategy, and launch of new advertising products and capabilities.

Who you are

● Demonstrated experience in go-to-market strategy, integrated marketing, sales marketing, or commercial strategy, ideally within media, advertising, entertainment, or the creator economy.

● Strong understanding of the advertising landscape, including branded content, sponsorships, and integrated marketing.

● A creative thinker who loves coming up with ideas and turning them into compelling commercial opportunities.

● Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with hands-on experience building polished, persuasive sales decks and presenting to internal teams and clients.

● Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and move projects from idea to execution.

● A natural collaborator who thrives working across teams, building relationships, and bringing different perspectives together.

● A strong pulse on culture, media trends, and the creator economy, with an instinct for connecting creators and content to advertiser needs.

● A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.

● Experience in podcasting, digital media/publishing, or creator-led entertainment is a plus.

What success looks like

● A strong, forward-looking Commercial Slate: A clear pipeline of prioritized creator opportunities, cultural tentpoles, and proactive offerings aligned with commercial priorities.

● Compelling, sales-ready opportunities: Creative ideas translated into well-positioned packages and persuasive materials that sellers are excited to take to market.

● Strong sales adoption: Proactive opportunities are consistently communicated, understood, and actively pitched by the Sales team.

● Measurable commercial impact: Proactive offerings contribute to revenue growth, with sell-through and market feedback informing future priorities.

● Seamless cross-functional collaboration: Strong relationships and clear processes across Creator Network, Originals, Marketing, and Sales keep opportunities moving from idea to market
