Wanted: An Accomplished Private Family Law Solicitor, Ready to Lead, Develop Others and Make a Wider Impact in our London Office.

Do you thrive when combining expert legal thinking with a practical, human approach?

Are you someone others turn to for clarity, sound judgement and guidance, particularly when cases become complex?

And are you ready for a role where you can continue doing the client work you enjoy, while using your experience to help others develop and maintain excellent standards across the team?

Your experience matters, and at Fullers, we want it to have a wider impact. As an Associate Director, you'll be trusted to deliver excellent work for your clients, share your expertise and help maintain the high standards we're proud of across the team.

Who Are We?

Fullers Family Law is a growing, values-driven firm known for doing things properly, caring about our clients, leading with confidence, and working together to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and our team.

We work with clients at some of the most pivotal moments in their lives, and our team is at the heart of their journey.

We're proud to be an Investors in People Gold accredited employer, committed to helping you grow, thrive and stay genuinely supported. Your development matters to us as much as the service you deliver.

Why Join Fullers?

At Fullers, you'll be somewhere that:

  • Treats you like the experienced professional you are, trusted, valued and empowered to use your judgement

  • Gives you the opportunity to influence quality, share your expertise and help colleagues develop

  • Values leadership that is supportive, approachable and grounded in doing the right thing

  • Invests in your growth, wellbeing and long-term future

  • Believes in kindness, clarity and open communication, especially when things are challenging

  • Puts people at the heart of what we do, ensuring our clients feel understood, reassured and empowered

You'll make a direct, positive impact on clients navigating life-changing moments while also helping colleagues build their confidence, capability and expertise.

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with our Legal Directors, you'll be a senior fee earner and role model within our family law team.

You'll continue to manage a full and varied caseload of complex private family law matters, while contributing your knowledge and experience to the development and quality of legal work across the wider team.

You'll be:

  • Managing complex private family law matters with confidence, sound judgement and empathy

  • Providing expert, practical advice and delivering an excellent client experience

  • Managing cases, risks and client expectations effectively

  • Supporting quality through post-checks, file reviews and guidance on complex matters

  • Providing constructive feedback, coaching and informal supervision to colleagues

  • Mentoring colleagues, sharing your knowledge and helping others build confidence and capability

This is a role where your judgement, experience and expertise matter, not just in the work you deliver personally, but in the confidence and capability you help build around you.

Is This You?

We'd love to hear from you if you're:

  • 10+ years PQE with strong private family law experience and the confidence to manage complex matters

  • Skilled in negotiation, advocacy and complex case strategy

  • Warm, clear and reassuring in your communication, with sound professional judgement

  • Pragmatic, forward-thinking and solutions-focused

  • Comfortable sharing your expertise, providing constructive feedback and supporting others to develop

  • Resilient, organised and able to maintain high standards under pressure

  • Confident with technology, compliance and working in a paperless environment

Most importantly, you'll be someone who believes great leadership isn't just about having the answers. It's about creating trust, supporting others and helping people do their best work.

What You'll Get in Return

  • Competitive package & benefits

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

  • High-quality training, mentoring and development

  • Supportive leadership and a genuinely friendly culture

  • A firm that understands work-life harmony

  • The opportunity to develop your leadership impact while remaining close to the client work you enjoy

  • A chance to make a meaningful difference to clients and colleagues every single day
