Associate (Lawyer) Corporate & Commercial

Our client, a leading law firm in Valletta, is looking for an Associate Lawyer to join their Corporate and Commercial Department, with engagement in M&A transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value corporate work within an established and reputable firm.

This is a hybrid role, offering a salary of up to €50K + performance bonus.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with M&A transactions, including coordinating due diligence enquiries and reviewing responses

• Draft and review transaction documents

• Draft, review and manage completion documents, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and in agreed form

• Provide general legal, commercial and corporate advisory support to clients

• Collaborate with the Corporate and Commercial team on a range of matters, under the direction of the firm’s partners

Education, Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified lawyer

• An LLM or similar Master’s degree in a relevant field, or 2+ years’ post-qualification experience, is a plus

• Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English, written and spoken

• Able to work under pressure and respect deadlines

• Able to work independently and within a team

• A motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a commercially aware approach
