Christcord Church is a Christ-centered, radically inclusive, and digital-first church community dedicated to bringing the love and truth of Jesus into online spaces. We serve believers, seekers, and the spiritually curious through digital fellowship, discipleship, and teaching—primarily via Discord and our website.

Whether someone is recovering from church hurt, exploring faith for the first time, or looking for deeper connection, Christcord offers a place to grow and belong.

✝️ About the Role

We are currently building a diverse team of Associate Pastors who will help support and lead various areas of ministry at Christcord Church. These general pastoral roles are designed for those who may not yet serve in executive leadership but still feel called to shepherd, teach, care, or disciple others in a digital church environment.

Associate Pastors will be matched to ministry responsibilities based on their calling, gifts, experience, and availability, and may serve in one or more areas such as:

• Teaching and Bible studies

• Prayer and spiritual care

• Member engagement and moderation

• Discipleship and mentorship

• Worship planning

• Admin and digital support

🧭 General Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support and spiritual encouragement to members

• Participate in or lead weekly Bible studies, prayer gatherings, or digital events

• Assist in managing member engagement and small group conversations on Discord

• Collaborate with other pastors to uphold Christcord’s theological, pastoral, and relational mission

• Help create a safe, welcoming, and grace-filled community online

🕒 Time Commitment

This is a volunteer role with a flexible commitment, generally ranging from 5–10 hours per week depending on availability and areas of service.

✅ Qualifications

• Committed follower of Jesus with a Christ-centered theology and pastoral heart

• Passionate about digital ministry and reaching people online

• Experienced in ministry, mentorship, or leadership (formal or informal)

• Willing to learn and grow within a supportive pastoral team

• Comfortable using or learning tools like Discord, Zoom, and Google Workspace

• Supportive of Christcord’s inclusive mission and desire to reach the marginalized

Formal ministry training is welcome but not required. Life experience, personal testimony, and spiritual maturity are highly valued.
