Recruitment Consultant | Sales & Business Development

$75k–$85k base + super | Up to 50% commission, uncapped | Hybrid, Bondi Junction

We’re looking for someone personable, proactive and motivated by results. You don’t need a background in financial markets, we’ll teach you the market and help you put your sales skills to work.

The role

You’ll sit alongside one of our two founders, learning directly from someone who has built the business and knows the market firsthand. From finding the right people to handling your first calls, you’ll have hands-on guidance and support as you learn.

You’ll connect talented people in trading and finance with opportunities at leading firms around the world. Many won’t be actively looking, so a big part of the job is reaching out, building rapport and understanding what could make a move worthwhile.

This is an active sales role. You’ll pick up the phone, introduce yourself to new people, ask good questions and follow up consistently. Curiosity, confidence and the ability to build relationships will take you a long way.

Day to day

• Finding people who could be a great fit for our clients’ roles
• Starting conversations through phone calls, LinkedIn and email
• Getting to know candidates, their experience and what they want next
• Supporting candidates through interviews and offers
• Using AI and automation tools to reduce admin and make more time for conversations
• Building towards winning your own clients and managing your own deals

Who we’re looking for

• Some sales experience: ideally 1–3 years in recruitment, business development or another role with targets. Ambitious graduates are welcome to apply too.
• A confident communicator: you enjoy talking to new people, listen well and can build rapport.
• Comfortable with outreach: you’re willing to pick up the phone and start a conversation with someone you haven’t met.
• Motivated by results: you like having goals to work towards and want your earnings to reflect your performance.
• Resilient and consistent: you understand that not every approach gets a yes, and you keep going.
• Curious and eager to learn: you take feedback on board and want to get better at what you do.

You don’t need to arrive knowing the trading industry. We’re interested in your drive, how you connect with people and your willingness to learn.

What you get

• $75k–$85k base salary + super, depending on experience
• Up to 50% commission, uncapped
• Hands-on training from founders who have run systematic trading businesses, alongside experienced consultants
