Asst. Finance Controller (Taguig)

Work Setup: Monday to Friday, Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day wfh) Location: BGC, Taguig Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Review financial records, monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Supervise and mentor members of the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development. Support cash flow management, financial planning, forecasting, and internal control initiatives to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with department heads and external auditors to ensure timely reporting, audit readiness, and effective financial decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is advantage but not required. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with exposure to financial reporting and budgeting. At least one (1) year of proven experience in a people management or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, taxation, and internal controls. Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
