Job Description
As an AU Tax Accountant, you'll deliver high-quality Australian accounting and taxation services by managing financial reporting, compliance, and advisory support for international clients. Your expertise will contribute to business-critical engagements while strengthening your technical capabilities within one of Australia's most prestigious Big 4 accounting environments.

The Qualifications We Seek
- At least 2 years of Australian Tax experience
- 3 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience
- Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with AUD 5M-100M+ turnover
- Experience preparing Australian financial statements, tax workpapers, and income tax returns
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
Your Daily Tasks
Australian Financial Reporting
- Prepare Australian financial statements across multiple entity structures for review.
- Process journals into client accounting systems.
- Prepare supporting workpapers to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
Australian Tax Compliance
- Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals and business entities for review.
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with Australian compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with the Australian Taxation Office on client-related matters.
Client Advisory Support
- Review and organize client documentation and financial information.
- Conduct research to support advisory engagements and prepare technical file notes.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax outcomes for international clients.
