Audit Director, CA(SA) – Australian Audit Firm – Hyde Park, Johannesburg (Hybrid)

CoSauce is building a dedicated audit & assurance team in Johannesburg for an established Sydney audit firm. Both its for-profit and not-for-profit practices are moving work to us, and we're hiring the Director who will lead it.

What you'll do:

• Lead two audit pods (14 people): allocate work, set the quality bar and do final file review before work goes to the Sydney partners

• Review files end to end: planning, risk, materiality, fieldwork, completion and reporting

• Sit on the hiring panels for your team in Nov–Dec

• Act as our SAICA training officer, so we can bring graduates through to CA(SA)

What you bring:

• CA(SA), with 5–7+ years of post-articles external audit, including people leadership

• Strong ISA knowledge; NFP exposure a plus

• A big plus: you're already a registered SAICA assessor or training officer

• Big 4 / mid-tier or international client experience preferred

Hybrid, based at our Hyde Park office. South African day shift, no night work. Start January 2027 (we'll work with your notice period). Please include your salary expectation when you apply.
