At Digital Switch we build animated, phone-first websites for local businesses: R2,999 once-off plus R199 a month, live in 24 hours. See our work at digitalswitch.co.za.We’re looking for 3 freelance sales reps to help small businesses get online.
Please read this first: this is a commission-only freelance role. There is no basic salary.
What you’ll do • Contact businesses that don’t have a website, by phone and WhatsApp • Show them the website we’ve already built for their business (we supply the leads and the sites) • Answer their questions and close the sale. The client pays Digital Switch directly through a secure link
What you earn • R750 for every sale you close, paid once the client has paid in full • Paid every Friday for the sales completed that week • No cap on the number of sales • Example: 2 sales a week is R1,500 a week. Your results depend on your effort and skill, and we won’t promise numbers we can’t guarantee
How it works • You’re an independent contractor: you choose your own hours and work from anywhere • You use your own phone and data • A week of onboarding in your first week: our script, the offer, how to handle common questions, and practice calls • A short written agreement before you startYou’ll suit this if you • Have matric • Speak clear English (isiZulu, Sesotho, Setswana or other SA languages are a big plus) • Have a smartphone with WhatsApp • Are comfortable calling strangers and hearing “no” • Sales or call centre experience helps but isn’t required
