Auditor Senior Finance & Financial markets

Your role will be to coordinate audit engagements focused primarily on finance/financial markets area, as follows:

• Planning and manage the audit engagement ensuring quality of work as well as meeting the deadlines and the overall budget.
• Review the processes/activities to identify and evaluate the main risks, existing controls and effectiveness of operations.
• Propose the audit program designed to evaluate the risks identified, including the sample to be tested and budget definition.
• Ensure quality of audit tests and maintain relevant supporting evidence for the conclusions.
• Identify the root cause of the associated findings, challenge the proposed action plans and follow their adequate implementation.
• Present the results by clear, comprehensive, objective and properly worded conclusions prepared in oral presentations, as well as written deliverables.
• Regularly report on the progress of works, findings and blocking points to the team manager.
• Coordinates the assigned audit team members: allocate tasks, monitor their progress, review audit papers, provide feedback, train/coach the team, etc.
• Contribute to a dynamic and progress-oriented spirit within the team by sharing information, ideas and experiences, listening of the others, supporting the ideas of the other team members and considering others’ perspective in the decisions and actions taken.
• Demonstrate ability to express independent opinions while complying with rules of professional ethics and audit standards.

This position allows you to build advanced knowledge of the banking industry, as well as to develop key competences as critical thinking, relevance focus, and advanced communication and presentation skills, giving you the prerequisites for future managerial positions.

Technical Experience:

• 5 years cumulative experience within banking and/or external audit specialized in financial services;
• Experience in at least one / combination of the following areas:

Finance

Financial markets

Controlling

Risk

General skills and social competences :

• Very good analytical skills deployed both on processes and transactions review
• Proactive and problem solving oriented
• Driven by accelerated self-development and team coaching
• Team-player attitude
• Advanced oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to manage small teams, previous coordination experience desirable
• In progress international relevant qualifications are a plus (ACCA, CIA, etc.)
• English – fluent (compulsory)
• Advanced knowledge of data processing (Excel, MS Access, SQL).’’
