Salary: 6,000,000 JPY~12,000,000 JPY depending on experience

Hybrid work: Twice a week in office minimum

We’re hiring a Automation QA Engineer to join a rapidly growing international FinTech company and help shape the next generation of financial services in Japan.

What You’ll Do

• Plan & Design Tests: Review project requirements to build functional and non-functional test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute & Report: Run manual and automated tests, log and analyze defects, and recommend fixes based on results.
• Modernize with AI & Automation: Continuously improve automation frameworks and use AI coding tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor) to speed up test design, script creation, and debugging.
• Share Knowledge & Support the Team: Document lessons learned, participate in testing forums, and handle assigned testing tasks.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, or similar) to improve test design, script generation, debugging, documentation, and productivity.

What We’re Looking For

• 3~5 years experience in designing, executing and maintaining automated test cases for mobile apps, web apps, or APIs.
• Proven professional experience with Appium (for mobile).
• Familiarity with Java for backend/server side.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Business-level English, Japanese is preferred but not required.
• Valid Work Visa for Japan.
