At the Knorr-Bremse Budapest R&D Center, we work on regulatory and strategic topics related to the next generation of vehicle safety and automation technologies. As a Strategic Analyst, you will directly support the Automotive Regulatory Strategy (ARS) team and contribute to initiatives that help shape the future of transportation and automotive regulation.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with an experienced and internationally recognized automotive strategy expert. You will gain first-hand insight into industry stakeholder management, international regulatory processes, and strategic decision-making while building valuable expertise in a highly specialized field within a global automotive technology leader.
As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting technical, regulatory, and market research.
- Monitoring and analyzing international regulatory trends and initiatives.
- Preparing decision-support materials, background studies, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Collecting, organizing, and maintaining information related to authorities, ministries, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
- Mapping stakeholders, interests, and regulatory processes.
- Supporting the preparation of international workshops, industry forums, and executive meetings.
- Analyzing technological and regulatory developments.
- Supporting the company's regulatory strategy through analyses and recommendations.
- Developing AI-based tools and agents to support analytical and coordination activities.
- Supporting the introduction of new digital and AI-driven ways of working.
- Preparing and following up meeting minutes.
- Supporting the preparation of business trips, conferences, and workshops.
- Drafting correspondence and responding to selected inquiries.
- Coordinating the calendar and meetings of the lead expert.
- Tracking action items and open tasks.
- Providing administrative support for meetings and professional consultations.
You are the ideal candidate if you:
- Hold a university degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
- Are interested in future mobility technologies and transportation safety.
- Enjoy analyzing and structuring complex topics and challenges.
- Are capable of independently processing technical and regulatory documents.
- Have a structured and analytical mindset.
- Are proactive, communicative, and persistent.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess confident English and Hungarian language skills.
- Are open to the practical application of artificial intelligence and digital tools.
- Enjoy working in an international environment.
- Are willing to work in a hybrid setup (minimum 3 days in the office, maximum 2 days working from home per week).
It is a plus if you have:
- German language skills.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory or legislative analysis processes.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-based tools.
- Interest in automation and AI agent development.
- Experience working in international projects.
