Role: Junior Azure Architect – AI Infrastructure

Location: Dublin| Hybrid – 3 Days per Week in Office

Duration: 12-Month Contract

We are seeking a Junior Azure Architect to contribute to Azure platform architecture and AI infrastructure design within an enterprise environment. You will collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and networking teams to develop secure, scalable, and reusable Azure platform capabilities, including infrastructure supporting private AI model access.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to Azure platform architecture, AI infrastructure design, and reference architectures.
• Support Azure landing zones, DMZ design, service integration patterns, and shared platform capabilities.
• Produce architecture documentation and technical design artefacts, and participate in design reviews.
• Identify dependencies across networking, security, architecture, and engineering teams.
• Support private AI model access through Microsoft Foundry, OpenAI, or similar services.
• Apply enterprise architecture principles to ensure secure, scalable, and repeatable platform delivery.
• Provide clear architectural guidance to support efficient delivery across engineering teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience contributing to Azure platform or cloud infrastructure architecture.
• Understanding of Azure landing zones, networking, DMZ design, security, and service integration.
• Exposure to AI infrastructure and private AI model access using Microsoft Foundry, OpenAI, or similar services.
• Experience documenting reference architectures, technical designs, and architecture standards.
• Ability to collaborate across architecture, engineering, security, and networking teams.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, scalability, security, and platform reusability.
