Azure Cloud Architect (Accounting Firm)

Work Setup: Monday to Friday, 3 days onsite, 2 days wfh Location: Makati Industry: Accounting Firm Key Responsibilities: Manage system and network administration activities, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, user account maintenance, and coordination with IT and infrastructure teams. Oversee cloud environment operations (e.g., Azure), supporting architecture decisions and collaborating with developers and cross-functional technical teams. Contribute to cloud strategy development, including multi-year roadmaps, technology evaluation, and identification of cost optimization and value creation opportunities. Lead IT engineering initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of solutions within scope, budget, and resource constraints, while supporting capacity planning and system enhancements. Provide technical support and client-facing engagement, ensuring compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO), addressing inquiries, and participating in client meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2–7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering, with strong exposure to Microsoft Azure. Solid understanding of virtualization technologies and core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls). Experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud systems. Skilled in cloud cost optimization, service selection, and migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
