We are a fully remote team of high-performing professionals working asynchronously across time zones. We're now looking for a Backend Developer to architect, build, and maintain reliable server-side systems that power critical data-driven solutions. What you will do As part of our engineering team, you will work closely with the management on defining, planning, and executing the work to bring our data platform to the next level in terms of reliability, performance, and ability to make changes You will architect and implement the required systems with operations in mind, having the latest AWS technologies available to make life easier You will own the functionality end-to-end from design to code to production, your responsibilities will not end after your code was approved by your colleagues The project is using the latest stable versions of all technologies involved, so you will be exposed to the latest versions of frameworks, and little to no legacy Together, we will ensure that you are only working on things that matter and have a significant impact on our customers What we offer Flexibility with Core Hours and Location: Work within agreed team hours, with flexibility to adjust your schedule as needed, and choose a productive location that suits you. What you bring You are a strong communicator with solid English skills You are comfortable and experienced with working fully remotely and communicating asynchronously You are a team player and helpful to those around you: you prioritize unblocking colleagues when possible You value speed and have a desire to deliver value quickly, and you know how to avoid unnecessary work Additionally you have a good understanding of Git processes, workflows, and are willing to follow them You don't like repetitive tasks and have experience in automating builds, tests and releases Taking ownership of a project, identifying gaps, suggesting improvements and delivering production-quality software is something you’re familiar with Your technical background You possess a good understanding of computer networks and high-level protocols such as HTTP You have production experience deploying and operating systems on AWS You have strong data modeling skills in relational databases (we use Postgres ) As an experienced developer you know how to design reliable intra- and inter-system integrations You have experience working with the OpenAPI standard On top of that you know or are willing to learn Typescript and Nodejs Bonus points You have experience working in the Industry 4.0 domain You have accumulated knowledge in managing infrastructure with CDK You know your way around Grafana or similar monitoring tools You have experience designing multi-tenant systems You have interest in or experience with using LLMs Starting date July 2026 Timezones CET ± 2 h Initial contract length 12 months Apply now To fill out the form and join, click the button.
