Job Description We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team and take ownership of server-side logic, database integration, and API development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Node.js or Python (FastAPI) , strong knowledge of RESTful APIs , and an understanding of OAuth and secure authentication practices. Experience working with chatbot platforms or conversational AI backends will be a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs Integrate backend logic with databases and external services Implement backend support for chatbot workflows and logic Ensure secure authentication using protocols like OAuth2 Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code Collaborate with frontend developers, AI/NLP engineers, and DevOps to deliver complete solutions Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability Maintain proper documentation of APIs and backend processes Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Strong programming skills in Node.js and/or Python (FastAPI preferred) Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and secure API authentication practices Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture Proficiency in Git and version control workflows Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with chatbot platforms or AI-related applications Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment pipelines Familiarity with containerization (Docker) Experience with GraphQL is a plus Unit testing and API testing experience (e.g., Postman, PyTest, Jest) Benefits Competitive Salary based on experience and skillset.
