Backend Developer - Java/Python (PH - Hybrid/Remote)

The Digital Bank Build team is creating a new suite of highly reliable, scalable financial platforms and apps using modern engineering practices. What You'll Do Design, develop, and deploy backend services with a focus on scalability, high availability, and low latency Deliver features end-to-end: design build test deploy monitor improve Analyze requirements, propose solutions, and collaborate within an Agile/Scrum + DevOps environment Work across modern architectures (microservices, serverless, event-driven) Take full ownership of the features you build What We're Looking For Must-Haves 2-6 years of experience in software development using Java or Python Strong database and schema design skills for large-scale systems Pragmatic approach, strong problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn Adaptability and comfort in a fast-changing environment Effective communication skills in English Strong team player in an Agile setup Nice-to-Haves Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, Django, Flask, FastAPI , or similar Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Packer Familiarity with automated testing frameworks Background in banking/financial services Strong English speaking & listening skills
