Backend developer (Laravel + Vue.js)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Laravel and Vue.js to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, modern DevOps practices, and experience working with contemporary workflows. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, efficient, and secure web applications. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust backend services using Laravel. Build and integrate frontend components with Vue.js. Design, implement, and manage APIs to support seamless communication between systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through best practices and regular code reviews. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows to streamline development and deployment. Monitor application performance and optimize server-side processes. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies to continuously enhance our development practices. Participate in agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in backend development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework. Solid experience with Vue.js and frontend integration. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles. Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL. Experience with version control systems like Git. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Experience with package development, Redis, is pré Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. A proactive attitude and ability to work independently. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Understanding of security best practices in web development. Knowledge of modern frontend workflows, such as Webpack or Vite.
