BI Developer / Junior BI Developer (Power BI)

We’re hiring: BI Developer / Junior BI Developer (Power BI) | Remote, Greece

We help hotels make better decisions with data. HBIS Analytics, our business intelligence platform, is trusted by 200+ hotels across Greece.

We’re open to both experienced and junior candidates. The role and responsibilities will match your level, with full training on our data models and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients across all our modules, from connecting their data sources (PMS, ERP, payroll and more) to delivering ready-to-use reports
• Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports and dashboards
• Develop data transformations with SQL, Power Query and Dataflows
• Handle client requests end to end, from understanding the need to delivering the solution
• Keep tasks, priorities and progress up to date in ClickUp
• Monitor data refreshes and data quality, and resolve issues proactively
• Propose new ideas and improvements for our products and internal processes
• Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) daily to work faster and smarter

What we’re looking for

• BI Developer: 2+ years of hands-on Power BI experience (data modeling, DAX, reports)
• Junior BI Developer: a degree in a relevant field or 0–2 years of experience, with solid foundations in SQL, Excel and Power BI
• Strong SQL and Power Query skills (or a strong drive to master them)
• Advanced Excel skills
• A data analysis mindset: you look at the numbers and ask “does this make sense?”
• Daily use of AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT in your work
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage priorities
• Clear communication with clients, fluent in Greek and English
• Experience with Dataflows, PBIP files, VS Code or Git is a strong plus
• A financial background (P&L, cost analysis, accounting data) is highly appreciated
• Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
