Bilingual Android Developer (In-Vehicle・Full Remote・up to 1200万)

Salary: 7,000,000 – 12,000,000 JPY per annum

As an Android Developer, you would be working on the in-vehicle Android applications that run directly inside taxi hardware, forming the critical backbone for their main service.

Beyond this, you would also actively shape New Development related to autonomous taxi implementation as a foundational growth member. Tackling the unique challenges of autonomous mobility during this early stage is one of the most exciting aspects of this role.

What would you be doing?

You would lead the development of Android applications running on hardware units inside taxi vehicles. In addition to application-layer features, these devices involve unique IoT techniques such as hardware integration via Bluetooth/serial communications, real-time location tracking, and MQTT protocol usage.

Tech Environment

• Language: Kotlin
• Libraries & Frameworks: Android Jetpack, Kotlin Coroutines, Firebase, AWS, etc.
• CI/CD: CircleCI, Bitrise, GitHub Actions

What experience are we looking for?

• 4+ Years Hands-on experience developing Android applications using Android Architecture Components.
• Experience implementing asynchronous processing using Kotlin Coroutines.
• Experience leading software development initiatives.
• Business-level Japanese for internal communication, plus Conversational English preferred.
