Role Description

The Bilingual (JP/EN) Sales Partner is a flexible, remote role ideal for experienced professionals, stay-at-home parents, carers, or mature students who value their time and possess an established network of senior executives in Japan. A self-starter, you ideally bring experience managing internal or external C-suite relationships in a B2B sales, marketing, or business development setting. You will work under a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect proprietary frameworks and follow GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) best practices to maintain client confidentiality. The role focuses on identifying and qualifying high-level enterprise opportunities (Country Managers, VP/Division Heads) for bespoke transformation engagements (¥2-3.5M+).

Core activities include:

  • Utilizing your executive network to identify organizations undergoing major change or strategic realignments.
  • Conducting initial discovery and qualifying leads using strict BANT criteria (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
  • Coordinating and scheduling executive briefing meetings for lead facilitation.
  • Supporting account relationship management and tracking pipeline progress.

This role offers generous commission on successful engagements, plus performance rewards for reaching quarterly targets. Partners operate as independent contractors and are wholly responsible for their own taxes, social insurance, and pension contributions.

NOTE: This is an independent, commission-only partner role offering no basic wage.

Qualifications -

  • Native or professional fluency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken), with the ability to build rapport with senior executive stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, channel partnerships, or high-level account management.
  • Ability to independently qualify enterprise leads and navigate complex corporate decision structures.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and structured pipeline tracking.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and absolute commitment to confidentiality.
  • Prior experience within the Japanese enterprise market (Gaishikei MNCs, mid-market scaling firms, or traditional conglomerates) is highly advantageous.
